Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. The most famous of her role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. According her, is the first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. When she reached 12 years old, her music took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13, and she was just 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. From then on she's not looked back. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic origins. Despite the fact that she only spoke English as a child and never been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. In order to preserve her heritage she's learning Spanish. She also creates songs using the Spanish language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," a song she composed in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. Orrantia got 4 "yeses" by the judges at the Seattle live audition stage following getting selected based on her YouTube submission. Her initial audition was in the show "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of the rest of her music. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
