Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's performance in the year 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge hit and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
