Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget reports. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she stopped her pursuit and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make her shop extremely successful before she decided to sell the store. Then she began writing her first cookbook. A number of different cookbooks and magazines were later published. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also debuted with great success. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to items and even containers. Ina did not go to a cooking academy and has never had any experience in a restaurant. She's completely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known.
